How It All Began

First Trial
It all started with our Factory Bathroom. Seven years ago, while renovating a corner of our old factory, we ran out of money before we could buy a sink for the guest bathroom. So, we did what we knew best; we built one. The first attempt? A cracked, leaking disaster made from an old trunk. But that failed fix sparked an idea.

Standing in the workshop, sketching over a clean wooden board, we built our first functioning wooden sink. It wasn’t just a workaround, it was beautiful, durable, and completely unique.Every visitor asked about it. That humble object quickly became one of Tekton’s signature pieces.

Born from the offcuts of our factory floor, The Arch is more than a sink, it’s a second life. Inspired by the timeless arches of historic Cairo, every block of wood in this piece has been rescued, reimagined, and handcrafted into a sculptural form that speaks of both heritage and innovation.
